Software release update 2.3.4

Ultra Pro Series software release update 2.3.4

This release improves performance in challenging outdoor conditions (especially wind and rain) and introduces clearer Sound Level information for easier interpretation and consistent results.

Following our last major release (2.3.2), this update adds another layer of practical improvements you can benefit from immediately.

The update is included as part of your Ultra Pro service: we recommend updating to benefit from the latest enhancements.

Improved performance in wind & rain (Ultra Pro Max)

The system detects wind and rain microphone disturbances and adapts in real time, reducing artifacts while preserving detection, resulting in cleaner acoustic images and more reliable leak detection outdoors.

Health Check result auto-saved to SD Card

After running a Health Check, Ultra Pro automatically saves a screenshot of the result to the SD card.

Numerical LoD now shown in dB above the Ambient Sound Indicator

A decibel LoD value is displayed above the color gauge, showing the minimum detectable sound level in the scene (lower in quiet conditions, higher in noisy ones).

Maximum Sound Indicator Removed from the UI

The dB value of the most intense sound source is no longer displayed next to the detection frequency.

More consistent sound levels across devices (Lite, Max)

Sound levels are now expressed in dB SPL and are more consistent across the Ultra range; calibrated devices can show comparable quantification. Expect lower displayed dB values than before (e.g., LoD around –30 dB SPL in quiet conditions) and a slightly different/ more neutral spectrogram and leak spectrum appearance, this reflects a more accurate reference, not a drop in detection performance.
