Responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Engineer job

About the role

As a Mechanical engineer you will have the opportunity to influence our growth by re-designing or designing new parts and by introducing new products. This role has a high impact as you will be able to work on a product from inception to realization. If you are a problem solver and think out of the box then this role is for you.

  • Contribute in defining requirement of the new products
  • Compose design concepts for new products
  • Create technical solutions to mechanical engineering challenges
  • Improve assembly and manufacturability by designing new parts and tools and by improving existing ones
  • Perform design reviews of the designs made by other team members before they get produced
  • Prepare documentation for production, assembly, and quality control
  • Be responsible for the components you designed from its concept design to its implementation at the end-use

    • Requirements for the Senior Mechanical Engineer job

    Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 3-5 years of professional hands-on experience in similar role
  • Good understanding of design and production processes including; Plastic Injection Molding, CNC part design, and sheet metal components.
  • Good knowledge of 3D CAD modeling, ideally SolidWorks
  • Experience with GD&T and producing technical drawings
  • Experience with SolidWorks Simulation
  • Fluent in English (verbal and writing)
