Responsibilities for the IT Specialist job

About the role

Are you looking to join an innovative high-tech company as IT Specialist? We are looking for a person who is willing to take ownership, is solution-oriented, and can work independently. Ultimately, you’ll ensure our IT systems are secure, consistent, and reliable. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic scale-up, rapidly growing, and expanding globally.

In this role, you will:

  • Test new applications and make an informed recommendation depending on the requirement of other departments and implement vendor solutions
  • Ensure a smooth IT onboarding of new joiners and streamline the process - IT hardware and software, setting up Windows and Linux machines.
  • Be responsible for the IT inventory
  • Be responsible for Incident & Problem Management - Assist in the continual improvement of systems through careful analysis of issues and their underlying root causes

    • Requirements for the IT Specialist job

    Your profile

  • Successfully completed a diploma, bachelor's, or master's degree in computer science or a comparable education
  • Previous experience as IT Operations Specialist
  • Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis
  • You already have experience with various software solutions and IT architectures, including ticket systems
  • Knowledge of hardware setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and passion for working with IT systems
  • Good knowledge of Linux & Windows based servers - configuration, administration, monitoring, and optimization
  • Good communication skills in English; both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Python, Bash or PowerShell
  • Knowledge of MDM software
