Responsibilities for the Indirect Sales Manager - B2B job

Responsibilities

  • Open, develop and retain relationships with our indirect sales channel partners which are active in the industry, in particular oil and gas, chemistry and power generation
  • Overseeing all aspects of business operations, incl. maintaining budget, sales goals and general targets
  • Active sales acquisition with focus on widen our network
  • Engage in prospecting, perform in-person presentations and on-site demos, help facilitate RFPs, and close accounts
  • Strategic development - develop a structured approach including operational plans to address the market (sectors, types of companies...) and discuss it with the superior
  • Generate regular progress reports and discuss it superior
  • Evaluate, organize and attend conferences and exhibitions in support with our indirect sales partners
  • Preparation of offers, general sales administration
  • Keep up to date with competition in the sales area and prepare market analysis
  • Create and maintain customer information in CRM tool, track and ensure sales process according to defined sale pipelines

Requirements for the Indirect Sales Manager - B2B job

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc Engineering degree (Technical/Instrumentation/Mechanical) or similar background with further education in Sales & Marketing preferred
  • Working experience in Oil & Gas preferably, exposure to Chemistry and/or Power Plants is also valued
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in an SMB , or start-up environment, selling of CAPEX equipment, Non Destructive Testing (NDT) or similar goods like measuring devices
  • Ideally experience in developing distribution network in Asia and/or Northern Europa
  • Proven ability to work under pressure including the ability to cope with deadlines, multiple tasks, and competing demands
  • Proven track records in Sales and Business Development including managing indirect sales channels in our target industries
  • Ability to approach different client levels, doing presentations and making on-site technical demos and trainings
  • Experience in developing existing and new indirect sales channels
  • Excellent communicator, multi-tasking skills, able to build relationships
  • Persuasive, independent, at ease in developing trust and negotiations
  • Self-starter, autonomous
  • Enthusiastic about promoting, Safety and Environment protection solutions
  • Leading skills, ability to lead, inspire and motivate our indirect sales channel partner, providing clear direction and constructive feedback
  • Language: fluent in English (verbal and writing) other languages are also valued
  • Good computer skills, familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
  • Driving-license
