Responsibilities for the Full-Stack Engineer job

About the role

Web services that help our Distran’s Ultrasound Camera customers monitor and track exceptional events, create inspection reports, and manage distributed devices. Web services that help scale ultrasound camera production, grow team workflows, refine Q&A, and accelerate operations. As a member of the software team, you will help Distran implement web services that result in new customer features and improved ultrasound camera production tools. In this role, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop new backend and frontend features for our customers and for our internal use
  • Contribute to the growth and scale of our web-service design and technology (e.g. security, data and storage model)
  • Contribute to maintain and further automate our web-services
  • Ensure a high-quality standard and continuous delivery of software
  • Collaborate in an agile Scrum team
  • Requirements for the Full-Stack Engineer job

    Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience with Django and Python
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue.js)
  • Experience with backend development supporting operations, production, customers, or IoT oriented work-flows and services
  • Experience with data and process modeling
  • APIs and API Management (GraphQL, REST)
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Nice to have:
      • Knowledge of HTMX and Alpine.js framework
      • Hybrid on-premise and cloud DevOps (AWS, Azure)
      • Event & Stream processing (e.g. Kafka, Faust)
      • Algorithms, analytics, computer graphics, engineering
