Responsibilities for the Business Development France, Belgium and Luxemburg job

About the role

The role will contribute to the implementation of the Sales and Marketing plans and customer growth in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industries in France, Belgium and Luxemburg. As a Sales team member reporting to the French Country Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Identify potential target end-users within the target segments and prioritizes accounts and opportunities to produce the best sales and profitability results
  • Set comprehensive sales strategies based on turnaround activities and of targeted companies
  • Actively acquire new customers, perform on-site demos, build relationships on all levels and follow-up in after sales, including product trainings to customers
  • Maintain a high awareness of fire and gas systems market trends and the competition, their strengths, weaknesses, sales and marketing methods & shares this information with internal stakeholders.
  • Plan, organize and implement marketing actions together with the French Country Manager
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional team based at the Swiss headquarter in Zurich
  • Responsible for data accuracy, CRM, activity reports, proposals and shipping instruction for own clients and prospects

    Your profile

  • General Engineering or Chemistry background - further education and experience in Sales and Marketing is a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in a SMB selling CAPEX and NDT (non-destructive testing devices)
  • Experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or Chemistry industry
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good computer skills and experience working with a CRM
  • Fluent French and English (verbal and writing)
  • Located in or in the vicinity of either Rouen, Lille, Antwerp, Lyon or Paris
  • Willingness to travel on business (60%-70%)
  • Driving license
